Yinglan Zhu is the Media and Communications Assistant at Locksmith Animation. She creates content for all social-facing platforms, runs the daily management of the Locksmith website, and assists with internal & external communications. She enjoys running around with her 15-year-old camera, recording exciting things happening at the studio, and sharing them with the world. She also works closely with the outreach and recruitment teams and has been co-ordinating both the new logo and website projects in 2023.

Having studied literature at Tsinghua University, Beijing she moved to Scotland in 2021 for her master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh. Yinglan has always been fascinated by the charms of storytelling and working at Locksmith Animation has enabled Yinglan to combine some of her biggest passions, filming, graphic design, and animation.
