Rich Burnside is a CG Visual Development artist working on look development across multiple projects at Locksmith Animation. After graduating from The Arts University Bournemouth he started his career at DNEG London as a VFX artist working on films such as Inception, Ironman 2, Harry Potter and Paddington.

In 2015, Rich had the opportunity to help build and develop DNEG's new Feature Animation modelling department and eventually became a Modelling Supervisor on Locksmith Animation's first feature release, Ron's Gone Wrong. After 12 years at DNEG, Rich left as a Character Supervisor to pursue new creative opportunities and learnings as a CG Visual Development artist at Locksmith Animation, working on That Christmas.
