'Ron's Gone Wrong' first title to emerge from London studio.![]() The film is the first title to emerge from the new co-production deal between the Hollywood studio and the U.K. animation startup.The first fruits of 20th Century Fox's new long-term co-production and development deal with new U.K. CG animation studio Locksmith Animation, unveiled last month, have been revealed. Ron's Gone Wrong, which is being co-directed by Alessandro Carloni (Kung Fu Panda 3) and Pixar Story vet J.P. Vine (Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur), is set for a Nov. 6, 2020, release. It will be produced at Locksmith's major new London facilities, which are due to open in the coming weeks, with partner Double Negative providing digital production. Set in a world where walking, talking, digitally connected bots have become children's best friends, Ron's Gone Wrong tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who finds that his robot buddy doesn't quite work.
