IT SUPPORT, CG ANIMATED FEATURE FILM, LONDON
Locksmith Animation are looking for first and second line IT support, with an immediate start. This will be a short term contract.
Based in London, and partnering with Double Negative’s new Feature Animation division, we are creating a high quality CG movie in partnership with 20th Century Fox.
In this role you will support the Head of IT to set up new artists with their kit and permissions, and you will be critical in daily trouble shooting duties. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to think proactively about production issues and quickly adjust and adapt when necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best artists in the feature animation field early on in our exciting venture.

Responsibilities
- IT Support relating to technical issues involving Windows, Mac, Linux and Office suite of products
- First line support for technical services at the network level (i.e., network connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, security)
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Systems review and documentation
- Defining and documenting standards for service desk technical service procedures
Position Requirements
- An understanding of Windows Server, Exchange, VMWare and networking an advantage.
- The ability to manage problems and workloads, highly organized and resourceful.
- The ability to escalate issues accurately and efficiently.
- A methodical and structured approach to problem solving.
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a sense of initiative and accountability.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Shotgun and Flix would be a bonus.
