Daphne Mather- Head Of Cuture
Daphne has worked in TV and Film Production for over 25 years. Originally based in Bristol she worked in TV production on music and arts documentaries as a Film Researcher. She moved to London in 2006 and transferred to current affairs at the BBC. She has nominations for two Focal Awards for her BBC work: The History of the World Cup and The Lost World of the Seventies with Michael Cockrell.
Daphne is the first Locksmith employee, brought in by Julie Lockhart for 10 weeks to find an office and help recruit a couple of people….. that took longer than expected and she has been central to team building and setting company culture ever since. Prior to working at Locksmith, the closest Daphne came to animation was making documentaries about the British animation industry, now she is excited to be on board making films not just documenting them. Daphne lives in Richmond and North Devon with her husband, daughters, three dogs and a couple of lodgers. |
